We want Protech to be usable by everyone, regardless of how you browse the web. This page documents what we've done, what we're working on, and how to tell us when we fall short.

Standards we target
We aim for WCAG 2.2 Level AA conformance. We're not 100% there yet — particularly on some legacy product detail layouts — and we keep a public checklist of known gaps.

What we've shipped
- Keyboard navigation across every interactive element.
- Visible focus rings on all controls (no hidden outlines).
- Color contrast ≥ 4.5:1 for body, ≥ 3:1 for large text.
- Alt text on every product image (we audit this on every new listing).
- prefers-reduced-motion respected on all animations.

What we're still working on
- Improved screen reader labels on the variant picker.
- Audio descriptions on the product video previews — currently captions only.
- A high-contrast theme toggle in account settings.
